Hello, I'm new to this board and just lopped off my introduction to the post on "Remediation possible?" After five years of debilitating symptoms and puzzling docs, I was finally diagnosed ("it's gnawing on your brain") in April and am relieved have a doc who practices complementary med and has a treatment plan. My question to the group is how successful might I be in remediating, considering the construction of the house and the humidity of the climate. That post follows (I hope).
Thanks for your comments,
Wendy

Hi Wendy,

First of all, welcome to The Mold Help Organization's discussion board. Remediation depends on many variables. If Stachybotrys or Chaetomium are involved, it is very difficult to remediate. It also depends if proper remediation is done, such as containment, etc.

It is best to have a post remediation test done after the work has been done to tell if it is effective.

Cheers,
Susan

By the way, you are most welcome here and we are happy to have you. As many of you can see, we have had our share of lewd and lucivious conduct on this board, which we have deleted and blocked. We receive about 400 requests per day from so called member who want to join. If you are interested, you might want to sign up a second time and use a normal name, not something obscene or mold related.

We are very cautious about whom we allow on this board but sometimes things fall through the cracks. Please bear with us as we work on this problem. We have just brought on a new person to monitor the board so we can better assist the public with their needs.

Thank you for your patience. We are doing our best to help the public as much as possible. Unlike other sites, we are not pretentious, nor do we play games that we are aomeone we are not, as you may know what I mean. We are here for one reason only' to help the public with this national health crisis. We don't pretend to be rich or society related. We are real people who have lost our lives, health, and homes to this scourge. We are also here to help.

Thank you for your understanding.

Cheers,
Susan Lillard
