Just a quick poll to see if anyone on here uses bleach to remove mold from sheetrock? Bleach is ok to use on hard non-porous surfaces like tiles, but is a huge no-no for sheetrock. Sheetrock that has mold growth needs to be cut out (in containment under negative pressure). Even if the wood studs beneath the sheetrock contain mold they should be sanded or wire-brushed - no bleach.

That water damage guy was trying to get some cheap advertising in by pretending to help. He's a jerk and I kicked him out of here. Only good advice is available here. His advice was absurd!

Cheers,
Susan
