I have a severe mold allergy and am undergoing mold allergy shots and am elderly. I have extensive green mold (not algae) under my gutter downspout which is right near my outdoor faucet (there is no leak from the faucet). I have a plastic runoff under the downspout which is full of the mold and it is also on the small stones against the house and extending into the mulch. The stone only in the downspout area extends to to the grass and the whole stone area is covered in the green mold. Due to a very limited budget I can not pay someone to get rid of the mold.

Since I can not scrub the stones would it be sufficient to fill my watering can with a bleach solution and water the area down (I intend to do the plastic runoff also and dispose of it). I expect to find the mold under there also. I can not get to the faucet because of bushes in front of it without stepping in the mold area and need the faucet to clean out my dehumidifier bucket and filter and wash out some other things. I am afraid of bringing spores into my house from my shoes and need to make sure it is safe to walk there. I do not want to get sicker.

Please, any suggestions or advice is needed desperately. This never happened before and is very upsetting as I need to get to my faucet. I am afraid to wash out my dehumidifier bucket in the tub or kitchen sink and do not have a slop sink in the basement.

Thank you for any help.
