Just got off a 2-hour call with my attorney.
I have one word of advice:
DOCUMENT!!!

I'm serious -- it could seem like way too much effort to find a pen or remember how to write in any given moment, but weeks and months can slip by amazingly fast when you;re semi-comatose, and suddenly a time will come when you'll realize how great it would be if you'd kept better notes. Just do your best to keep some kind of journal -- with dates, and names, and phone numbers, and anything that seems like it even MIGHT be relevant. If you someday realize you don't need it, throw it away, but if someday you realize you DO need it, there it is.

Nearing the end of my treacherous journey (I hope) and sending love and hope and blessings to those who are just beginning yours...
