Hi everyone,

My name is Melissa and about a year ago I found this Mold Help and it helped me out a lot. 2 years ago my girls and I were really sick, I lost a baby and no one knew what was going on. We were either at the hospital because my 2 year old couldn't breath or in the clinic for numerous problems ranging from resp. issues, massive headaches and the list goes on and on. We saw many different doctors who brushed us off and said it was just a virus.

We finally started to smell things in our house from our basement and after a close inspection, we saw mold everywhere on the ceiling of our basement on the wood floor boards from the main living area.

My story after this gets very, very long so I will keep it breif. We finally had someone come out to let us know how much it would cost to clean the basement and during this meeting, it was brought to our attention that the mold was everywhere in our home, not just the basement. In order to clean it, we would basically have to tear down the house and rebuild because the issue was the mortor and clay tiles that our house was built out of 100 years ago was deteriorating and was letting all the mositure in. So, even if we clean it all up, there would always be an issue.

So, we lost our home and are still dealing with it. We built a new home in front of our old one. We are tearing it down soon, which will be hard for us and our kids.

I wanted to join this discussion board because it helped me out so much when we had so many questions and were not getting any clear answers, so I want to be able to repay the favor.

If I can help in anyway, I will do so!

Lissa
